NAS Universal Training Program – Continuing Education

Continuing Medical Education and Continuing Nursing Education

Vermont Oxford Network QI Collaborative offerings have been approved for CME/CNE credits. Our educational activities have been planned and implemented in accordance with accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint providership of The University of Vermont College of Medicine and Vermont Oxford Network. The University of Vermont College of Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Northeast Multistate Division (NE-MSD) is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Please note that many states and licensing boards require pharmacology credits. In some states specific pharmacology credits focused on opiate prescribing are also mandated. Given that the entire NAS curriculum is focused on an inadvertent consequence of opiate exposure (NAS) we believe these materials will assist you in meeting state requirements. Please check with your state board for specific guidance.
