Enrollment open for iNICQ 2015: Alarm Safety! Driving Outcomes With Evidence-based Oxygen Therapy and Safe Monitoring Practices

On September 24th, over 300 VON member centers participated in the outstanding webinar—An Alarming Problem! Alarm Hazards Top the Patient Safety Hazards List. Led by our expert faculty, Dr. Maria Cvach, from Johns Hopkins Hospital, participants learned how they can improve bedside care, clinical outcomes, and family satisfaction while meeting the new National Patient Safety Goal (NPSG.06.01.01) and The Joint Commission mandate which requires every center to develop a comprehensive system-wide assessment of alarm hazards. An entire Internet-based collaborative—iNICQ 2015: Alarm Safety! Driving Outcomes With Evidence-based Oxygen Therapy and Safe Monitoring Practices—will be launched in January 2015.
